Here's the deal: I've posted images of six things that best reflect my personal aesthetics. I'd like you to do the same. As long as they have some deep, life-shaping visual appeal to you, the pictures can be of anything you want: products, pieces of art, cars, musical instruments, places, people -- no auto-goatse, preferably -- what have you. As soon as you do this, link to it -- or post the images themselves -- in the comments. I get to every filter on my friends list irregularly (at best), and I really do want to see what you guys can do with this. As a super extra lucky happy family bonus, I'll link to the best of 'em here.

This was actually kind of hard, and I may change some of them later.

Last weekend found me in LA, specifically to view the Geffen's exhibit "Ecstasy" (well worth checking out),but I was also able to go to Chinatown to view the festivities.

Pictured here is a display by the main entrance to a fairly popular restaurant in LA's Chinatown:

If you can't see it well, the doll is holding in her right hand some sort of woven frying pan with a crab glued to it; and in her left hand is a chicken in a basket. The doll's hair is also silver and she is wearing slippers.

An alley-type thing with a couple of stores and a few hep art galleries.

Clearly, the best saved for last embodied here. This was in front of a bank and was apparently their idea of pulling out all the stops on decorations for the new year.
